The Glowing Jellyfish Grotto is an aquatic-themed playscape that captures the essence and serenity of the sea floor. Using a bright pastel color palette this playscape is warm and inviting but maintains a playful atmosphere. The playscape is designed to be all-inclusive focusing on an environment where kids can use their imaginations while still relaxing to adults. It’s designed to be sustainable with the use of repeated and easily replaced parts, a key highlight being the jellyfish lamp posts and their rechargeable solar-powered lights.
Materials and Processes: Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Laser Cutting for programs and MDF, tissue paper, and repurposed Gatorade Bottles for the lamp posts for materials.
